An important aspect of the CTEE method is the integral approach to development: CTEE Cape Town is convinced that economic, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual empowerment need to go hand in hand to offer the tools to build a decent living. CTEE offers skills of hands, to make young people self-reliant, skills of heart and mind to live with dignity, purpose and responsibility. We therefore stimulate our participants to take part in the wide variety of activities available. Life skills education is an integral and compulsory part of the training programs at CTEE. It aims at empowering young people and making them self-confident, responsible, fulfilled and purposeful citizens of their society (*community). To assist in economic development, business studies and business support implementation (BSI) are offered to all skills training students, as are possibilities to borrow start-up capital and tools to set up a business.
